About:

Service projects in scouting is just like a mitzvah project. This is one that can become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tradition as well…
Troops participating in a service project during October each year. We even get the entire school to join in.
Basically we are collecting donated items to make bags with as much items needed for a child to have a birthday party that may otherwise not be able to. If you can help out by asking family, friends, neighbors if they can donate even just 1 item (party decorations, cake mix box, frosting, candles, party favors, etc.) it would help a lot. The bags will be delivered to MEND on Oct. 31 in honor of Girl Scout founder, Juliette Gordon Low.

Please send in items any day labeled “Birthday-In-A-Bag” donation. We will be collecting up until Friday Oct 28.

Juliette said, “Welcome obstacles, as it is only by meeting with difficulties that you can know how to overcome them…”
